Privacy
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else's server. It cannot tell who you are. If you email or call us, we obviously do hold what you send — this page explains what happens to it.

Who we are
Rapid Annex is the data controller for the information described on this page.
You can reach us at info@rapidannex.com or 020 3422 1262. If you want to ask about anything on this page, that is the address to use.
What this website collects
Nothing.
Specifically, and to be plain about what that means:
- No cookies of any kind — not analytics, not advertising, not "essential".
- No analytics or measurement. We do not know how many people visit, or which pages they read.
- No tracking pixels, tag managers, session recording or heat mapping.
- No advertising or remarketing tags, and no data sold or shared with anyone.
- No contact form, so there is nothing on the site to submit.
- No third-party embeds. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font service, and there are no external maps, videos, chat widgets or social buttons. Loading this page does not tell any other company that you were here.
- No account to create, and no login.
Because there are no cookies and no tracking, there is no consent banner. That is not an oversight — there is nothing to ask you to agree to.
Server logs
The one exception worth naming. Like effectively every web server, ours records a line for each request — the IP address it came from, the time, the page requested and the browser's user-agent string. An IP address can count as personal data, so it is only fair to say that this happens.
These logs exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not linked to anything else, are not shared, and are kept only for as long as they are useful for diagnostics before being overwritten. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
When you get in touch
Enquiries reach us by email and phone. When you contact us, we hold whatever you choose to send, which in practice is usually your name, your email address or phone number, the address or description of the site, photographs of the garden, and what you are hoping to build.
We use it to answer you, to assess whether the site is suitable, to prepare a quotation, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and afterwards to perform that contract. Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping a record of who we have spoken to and what we advised.
We do not send marketing emails, we do not run a mailing list, and we will not pass your details to anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Only the people who need to in order to do the job, and only the part they need:
- Our approved ground screw installer, where a site needs surveying or foundations installing.
- Solvere, our sister company, if you ask for a fully managed build.
- Engineers, planning consultants and building control, where drawings or an application require it.
- Our email and phone providers, and our web host, who process data on our behalf as suppliers of those services.
Nobody buys this data from us and nobody is given it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not go anywhere are deleted once they are clearly not going anywhere. Where we have carried out work, we keep the project records for as long as we may need them for contractual, warranty, insurance and tax purposes, which for construction work is normally several years.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
Email info@rapidannex.com and say what you would like us to do.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Automated decisions and transfers abroad
We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile you. We do not transfer your data outside the UK for our own purposes; where a supplier such as an email provider does so, it is under the safeguards that law requires of them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works — if we ever add a contact form, or decide we need analytics — we will change this page first and update the date at the top of it.
